Fall Tailgating Fun
We had a great day tailgating at the UTC – Citadel game on Saturday. We grilled out hot dogs and played some football along with a lot of other folks. We were then treated to a great football game, and able to witness the Mocs complete the greatest comeback in UTC history! GO MOCS!

Our Crazy Tomato Plants
We can’t quite figure it out, but somehow we have managed to grow tomato plants over 8 feet tall! We haven’t had any ready to pick yet, but we have a dozen or so green ones. We may end up having plenty to give away!
Houston lands huge fish!
The boys and I went down to the Tennessee River downtown for a little late Sunday evening fishing. Houston landed the largest brim I have ever seen! He caught him on a yellow rooster-tail. This photo says it all! Look closely and see how his arm is holding the fish up and not out toward the camera…this fish was HUGE!

Lazy Day on the Little River

Boys finish year with high marks
Both Houston and Jackson finished out the school year with outstanding grades! Houston was elected into the honor society, and Jackson scored several “4’s” on his grade card, showing that he was performing above his age this year. Way to go boys!
Catfish Hunter!
Houston caught his very first catfish on Sunday! The little guy was pretty plump, and only by some last minute discussion was spared from the frying pan.
